Mulberry Tree

We have a ladder

that can reach the very top

of the mulberry

tree, but there’s so much fruit to

harvest from the ground, the top

of the tree belongs

to the birds. They eat their fill

and there’s still so much

fruit left for us to enjoy

while we listen to them sing.
