Farm Animals

Daisy Girl

Daisy Girl

she’s always on the go,

she’s not a lazy girl

eating grass and oats,

with the sheep and goats

it’s Daisy Girl

it’s Daisy Girl

Mrs. Emily Duckinson

Mrs. Emily Duckinson

waddle, waddle, quack, quack

here’s an egg

here’s an egg

Mrs. Emily Duckinson

Mrs. Emily Duckinson

only for Basmati rice, she’ll beg.

Little B is always broody,

and Coco’s always moody

and Fluffy is the cutest one in town

pecking and a’ scratching

but their eggs are never hatching

cause as fast as they can lay em’

we eat them down

Mahina and her sisters,

and Ram Chomsky the only Mister,

like stripping bark from the invasive trees

they see me with the ax,

and they all start to relax

because for the leafy greens,

they’re begging please

About soitgoes1984

I was born and raised on land stolen from the Pocumtuc. I now live on a small island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, on land that was stolen more recently, from the Hawaiians. I am addict, struggling to kick the habit of fossil fuel. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
