counting dollars 1, 2, 3

signaled the end of unity

none for you

and 3 for me

signaled rise of oportunity

ill lend you 1

you’ll repay me 3

nothing in life

ever comes for free

now ill lend you a nickle

pay me back a quarter

or leave your fields

heres the policemans order

ill own your farm

and ill own your kids

youll rot in prison

for the thing you did

cheating me out

of what was clearly mine

on top of what you owe

youll have to pay this fine

but if you want your freedom

you can sign this line

lets shake hands

the deal is over

and your soul is mine

About soitgoes1984

I was born and raised on land stolen from the Pocumtuc. I now live on a small island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, on land that was stolen more recently, from the Hawaiians. I am addict, struggling to kick the habit of fossil fuel. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
