Goddess

I know a place

where a goddess sings an ageless tune

of love, of life, of humanity

I escape my insanity

as I look up at the stars

and drink in the moon

and all its celestial beauty

I’m staring at the Milky Way

dreaming of tranquility

the universe guiding me

as I cross paths with the seasons

finding spring, finding my muse

sing with me, dance with me

under the light of the moon

no need for wine, drunk on love

high on star dust, here we are

lured by Pele, fire burning

dance with me, sing with me

humanity our kuleana

mankind our ohana

our souls connected, negativity rejected

I give thanks for you

I give thanks for me

I give thanks for our universal family

for humanity

for the birds

for the bees

for for all the seas

and the earth is our mother

we must take care of her

and I love her

and I love you,

ever loveable,

my heart grew the moment I found you

on an Island in the sun

ready to run

to connect with eternity

connect with humanity

one love, one ocean

seven billion drops

lets bare our souls

and dive deep into the unknown

where we’ll find ourselves

and find all the world

waiting to join hands and sing

praise for the universe

my heart is yours

my soul is yours

my hand is yours

to hold on this journey

as we walk

down this old dirt road

into the unknown

underneath the moon and stars

underneath eternity

About soitgoes1984

I was born and raised on land stolen from the Pocumtuc. I now live on a small island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, on land that was stolen more recently, from the Hawaiians. I am addict, struggling to kick the habit of fossil fuel. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
