One last kiss

July 2013

One last kiss

Is all I ask of you…

Not that I deserve it

Not that I deserved the first

Or all that followed

But I need to know

If it was all just a dream

Too good to be true

Or if it was real

If we were real

And if we were…

Maybe we still are.

Either way, I just need to know

So I can hold on for dear life

Or move on down the road

Never stopping again

Knowing that you’re gone.

About soitgoes1984

I was born and raised on land stolen from the Pocumtuc. I now live on a small island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, on land that was stolen more recently, from the Hawaiians. I am addict, struggling to kick the habit of fossil fuel.
